Does anyone take "joint capsules" for Arthritis?

You know, those that are sold over the counter and claim can help your joints get better? Do they really work? Any side effects? Any particular brand?

I have arthritis, and I only take medicine from my doctor. He has never givin me "joint capsules".

Yes, glucosamine and chondroitin. It has helped with the pain and the grinding noise. The brands seem all the same to me.
