I think you should hand the letter to him and say something to him. if you just run out of there he going to tell his friends about you and make jokes about you and make you feel bad for yourself.

Write secret things on running water.
Is this a note you are going to want other people to see?
Can you trust that his guy is going to be respectful enough to keep the note to himself, or is he going to be a jerk and show it off to everyone, or perhaps even make fun of you?
Love is no laughing matter, whether or not that love is returned... but people can be cruel.
Talk to him, start to be his friend... get to know him, and let him get to know you. Then you can really know if you like him or not, without total embarrassment.

I think it depends what grade your in.....if your in....9th and up...ditch the note.....any grade under where you have lockers, do that, just leave your name.......if you feel you MUST hand it to him in person......DO IT WITH CONFIDENCE!!!!! he probably doesn't no u exist because u dont put urself out there.....just remember theres a FINE LINE between having the ability to attract people towards you, and being attention hungry...so watch out

if you give it to a really good firend, tell them to give it to him, and see if he responds.
if it isn't what you expected, the bad news will seem less harsh comming from someone who cares about you. and you will have someone to talk to about it.
if it is good, then you have someone to celebrate with!!!!
stick with your friends, never let them go.
