Bruce Lee!
The guy died more than 30yrs ago and people still compare him to martial artist/fighters that are alive now.
Ask people to name a famous martial artist and I bet his name will pop up more than any other.
He died early in his 30's. Can you image what his art would of evolved into if he lived anoter 30-40 years!

bruce lee was a real life champion jet li is just an actor.
bruce lee created a real life new fighting style. jet li made cool movies. bruce lee created a mentality that others have adapted and keep today jet li has retired and no one will know him for anyting but the movies he made.
you do that math
AORTHA -- yeah jet li attended the same school at the same time Jackie Chan and Hoang the chunky dude who had his own show did. So big whoop. whats your point??
AND IT WASNT shoalin temple it was a wushu academy.
Stop making things up and trying to sound as if you know anything.
Plus, it doesnt change what he did or didnt do compared to bruce

While I give serious props to Jet Li for his skills, there will never be another Bruce Lee. His skills as a martial artist and his personality and vision paved the way for the development of martial arts as a huge money making industry in the US and Europe. There are talented martial artists everywhere, but none of them have had the impact on the sport/art that Bruce did.

In my opinion Bruce Lee is way cooler.
He pioneered the martial art movement in America. He was an early ambassador for the arts.
If Bruce would not have been brave enough to pave the way first Jet Li would not be cool now.
Bruce was doing this stuff before it was "cool".

It depends on what you mean by that Jet Li only one form competions he never did san shou. Bruce on the other hand did fight in competion and on the set of his movies when ppl thought he was full of ****. Bruce's movies did not incorprate the use of wire like a lot of Jet's USA movies do. So I would have to say Bruce is the better I have not sceen a bad Bruce lee movie I cant say that about Jet

Cool is just a current fashion statement.
Jet Li is cooler, but at the time Bruce lee probably had a larger percenage of his market AAANNNNNDDD if not for Bruce then Jet Li would be having to break this ground himself.
