I have short dark brown hair and I'm not experienced with dying or colouring. I want it to be a natural blonde colour. Is that possible and how can I do it at home?

You can do it gradually, DO NOT do it at home because you could end up.. burning your hair, having it turn yellow...etc.

Go see a salon and ask them to gradually blonde your hair by adding a full head of foils gradually... they bleach it then add a toner to take out the yellow.

If you continuously add blonde foils to dark hair you will be a full natural looking blonde in about 6-8 months.

you may have your hair processed to get rid of the darkish dye pigment, yet for the reason that your hair colour has been compromised it gained't look like your own "organic' colour. there's a hair dye it is named "organic blond" that may be utilized after the former colour is bumped off. Your genuine God-given organic colour would ought to strengthen back in time.

it is a 2 process coloring job, and if you have no expereince I suggest you go to a salon, but if you are determined to do it yourself, get a friend to help you because you need to cover all of your hair. you have to pre-lighten your hair, with a bleach. and then color it with a toner. you can get these items at a beauty supply store like sally's.
don't do this if your hair is permed or straightened, you need a pro. and If you highlight it it will be less dramatic than coloring your whole head.
