I just saw this study on the news about how shopping cart handles have an extreamly high fecal content. Ewwwwwww!

Lots of people don't wash thier hands after a trip to the restroom I guess.

Our grocery stores have containers of anti-bacterial wipes for just that purpose where the carts are lined up. It is a very good idea. Also, it is a good idea to keep the hand gel at the ready. I keep the wipes in my purse and actually wipe the tables off in fast food restaurants before I sit down. Call me crazy!!

I do if they have wipes around, and i do tend to shop at stores that do. Why don't stores make it a policy to wipe carts whenever they bring them in from outside. Might help I guess.

I don't becasue I work retail and that would just mean I didn't get anything done. we all wash our hands many times a day at my store though. everytime we can get back to the breakroom area pretty much.
and we have a few bottles or purell placed around the store just in case.
