First of all , i would go back to the doctor who is giving you the mediation you are taking. They may not be the right ones for you, and he can change them. Some antipsychotics will make you feel that you don't have a sex drive anymore. So that med can be changed too. You need to take the medication the way they have it set up. But if it is not working to get your condition back to a normal level , then you really need to go back to you doctor and tell him so. And also ask about getting those meds change, cause four months is too long to be feeling that low, from the bipolar. So seek professional help , and if you don't think that he is helping you , then go to another one, that will listen to you.

dolly the very fact that you realize what is going on is very helpful if you were to be in denial about it that would just make it worse
try to remember things that once made you happy and concentrate on them work with plants that need your attention in the house
probably the best thing is to find someone that needs your help someone that you see a in a worse position as yourself and there are certainly lots of them and concentrate on helping them, a lot of what you see as a problem will go away in the face of seeing someone else suffer far worse than you. I get depressed badly at holidays since the death of my parents and I have been helping a former student go thru a nasty divorce and at Holiday time her pain is enormous. I talk to her every day thru e-mail and on the phone to let her have someone to vent on and ask questions of and for this x-mas she became my present I do not feel the usual depression that I normally do because in my heart I know I am somehow getting something right by helping someone else
would like to think that it could work for you
you finally secret weapon is to know that there are people who love you and wish the best for you whom you would never suspect

i know, life is sh*t sometimes. it comes with being an adult, and youve just had a ton of adult-ness (i dont want to say "adultery") dumped on your plate and thats got to be tough. and no offense to the my fellow members, but i doubt youre going to get a good answer from the people of yahoo answers. Confide in your family, and continue to push through the rough times. i know it sounds SUPER super corny but bear with me because its totally relevant - theres a light at the end of every tunnel. lily

you shouldnt feel this way after being on medication for 4 months, my advice is tell your doctor and tell him you want to try another one because it seems your med isnt helping. their are many meds out there and im surprized your dr. didnt switch, unless you havent told him how you feel.
