I visited Belgium a month ago and I loved it! I spent my time in the small town of Bruges and Brussels. I loved Bruges!! It has a great morning market on Saturdays with all kinds of food and shopping! I climbed the clock tower, saw Michelangelo's Madonna and Child, and ate at all the chocolate shops! It is beautiful and the people are great! Plus they speak English... I stayed at the Johnny Rocket's Hostel which was a blast! They have fun bars and great food!

I only spent an afternoon in Brussels. I wouldn't have wanted to be there any longer!! I would suggest the museums, the chocolate store row, the peeing statue! One afternoon... it is a very international/cold city! Not very charming and full of life compared to capitals like in Paris or Rome

I was in Belgium a year ago for New Year´s Eve. Nice country, nice people, nice things to do and places to visit.

I will recommend to visit Brussels, Gent and Brugge. Don´t miss the chocolate, Godiva for example is original from Belgium! Good public transportation and not expensive at all.
