I have really thick hair. I ALWAYS start from the bottom up! I put all of my hair up on top of my head loosely and bring a layer down at a time. It works great! Then after Im totally finished I run the straightner over big chunks of my hair to give it alot of shine.

lemme tell you what i do:
1. i part my hair in the middle
2. i would start with the left side of my hair that is parted.
3. i would leave the rest of my hair on the left side in a pony tail so it doesn't get mixed up with the other hair on the other side.
4. i straighten the left side from bottom putting the hair on that side that i am not straighting in a clip on top on my head.
5. i keep doing all that until one whole side is done and completly straightened.
6. then i do the same to the other side.
i am sorry if this may sound a little confusing. but anyway, i would start from bottom to top.

You should clip the top of your hair up out of the way and start at the back/bottom. Unclip, find a new section above the first and continue this way until you reach the top. You may have to touch up the sides. Make sure you use a protection agent for you hair cause straightenin can be quite damaging...
Your gonna look amazing

you should start at the bottom and work your way up that why all your hair will be straightened. also apply a styling product for flat irons to protect your hair from being burned from the excess heat.

Start with the back of the head at the bottom by the neck, tie all the hair above that up. and work up, flatening the bangs last

Start from the bottom that way you can pin the rest of your hair up while in the process. It would be hard to do the other way around. Good Luck

Usually you put your hair in parts, using a clip and then begin from an inch from your head and get lower.

I usually part my hair in two, as if I'm putting them into two ponytails . . . and then, I start from my bangs and back.
