Wow, I wish it were that simple. I don't think there are set rules but I guess if a guy is keen he would reply sooner rather than later?
After the 3 days you might need to start to accept the fact he may not be interested. Tricky one though. I find my head starts working overtime and the possible excuses start pouring out. I just want to know where I stand.

I think it depends. Did he promise you he'll reply in three days? o/w he may just be busy. Just wait for a week or so.

There may be a hundred and one reasons why he does not reply in that time.
But it does not sound TOO interested, sadly.
Ask him why when he does contact you....and give him the chance to tell you.

It depends. You have to really know your guy for that answer. Some guys have to really think things over because they care about you but they need to think about changes this responce could cause. Those guys care. But also guys who answer quickly might care to because they don't want to keep you or themselves waiting to see what will happen.
