hello mate , i just flew from heathrow terminal 3 to bahrain last weekend via gulf air. When i went to get my boarding pass from check in the woman there insisted that i only carry ONE hand case with me and all the rest should be shipped. I had two bags , a laptop bag and a small suitcase , i had to put my laptop bag inside my bigger suitcase and pass threw security check in( then having to take it out again for seperate screeing again !!). That is the only way , even if your suitcase is heavier that way , but as soon as you pass security u are allowed to take ur laptop out of the suitcase and carry it in its original case /seperate bag , its normal you will notice lots and lots of people doing the same thing and some women putting thier purses in thier hand luggage and taking it out after security check in . I hope my answer helps ! have a safe journey . P.S dont Ship your laptop , lol

Officially only one Laptop case sized bag, wether it contains a Laptop or not. although i have known people to get away with more, though more than 2 would be pushing it, I guess your best chance of managing it is at peak times. If you do try make sure all your important stuff is in your Laptop bag to save repacking if asked to check the second.

anything they sell in the airport is permitted on the flight, so any food sold there is permitted on the flight. so things like sandwich's. it's generally things that dont smell, thats whey the food and sandwich's in the airport dont taste of anything, because they have had the smells removed, so taste terrible. if the smell wasnt removed, it would go all over the plane. you could always ask for a diffrent meal when you book the flight. Edit_ no drinks, because nothing more then 100ml is permitted on the flight.

Yes, you can take a laptop in a bag and another small bag, like a rucksack. You shouldn't get hassled. I never have anyway. Just makie sure you have no liquids or pastes.

ONE ITEM ONLY, or they will send you back to check in to check the other bag in, and then you will have to queue up again through security and might miss the flight altogether.

The best way to get info is to call your airline or visit their website. They usually have handy travel tips as well as rules and regulations. Happy travels!

Better check it out---I think the last I read one carry-on only. Tho, a woman may take a purse.
