If they attacked me and hurt me, yes. because if you let the abuse continue, it will happen again.
If you threw the first punch you need anger management and they could call the cops on you.
Hitting and punching is not a way to solve anything. Remember that you are not communicating with one another, someone is angry and is taking their frustration out on a member of the family
There is nothing that someone could say to anyone that deserves a punch, slap or injury..
you can walk away and ignore the abuse.....don't get caught up in it .....

no my brother was about to call the police on me so i locked him in the laudry room for two hours.
