And if they send a jury duty notice to an address that I don't live at anymore, and nobody responds, will they issue a warrant for my arrest? How do I prevent this? I travel a lot for extensive periods of time.

The jury is selected from the DMV records as well as voter registration. While you may not let voter registration know right way. Most notify DMV on time.

You either voted or got a drivers license with that address.
Do you not check your mail for extended periods of time? WOW! you could have won Publishers Clearinghouse or they could cut off your power. They do not send the notice & expect you there a week later,- They give you notice & in my state they will issue a bench warrant for a no show juror.

Check your mail & make sure your address is correct with DMV.

If you are going to be away for any length of time you should have the Post Office forward your mail to someone you trust and keep in touch with so that they can inform you of anything important in your mail. If you receive a Jury Duty Notice you just have to return it with a reason of why you cannot serve at that time. They will contact you to serve at a future date.

You must contact the Government of your Country, tell then exactly your situation about your jury duty and the circumstances of your residency. Get them to send all new correspondence to your new address, if they have already sent to the old address, get bills and lease showing when you moved. You wont go to jail.
DO THIS ASAP
Keep asking until you get to the right authority to deal with this. There is sometimes a bit of RED TAPE (noooo reasonnnn)

Call your local court and let them know that you travel alot and if you get a jury notice you might not get it.

if you don't live there anymore, then you don't live there anymore.
