My mother in law is having an experienced painter do her house and it's like $50 a room for one coat and $100 for two for labor. I don't know if that includes moving furniture or not. Room's with trim to be painted are like $30 more. This guy is supposed to be good. He's promising it all to be done in 1 day. And she has a pretty good size house. I thought that was a good price.
But I would still check around your area for quotes and references.

You would easily be able to get estimates from different companies. If you are worried about the cost there are many college kids that would jump at the opportunity to make a little extra cash. Call your local college to see if a program like this is in place. I know that there is one in my area.

It depends on their experience. It also depends on how they are doing it, is furniture moving included. This is a very non specific question. You aren't even saying how large the room is.

depends on square footage and wall prep,furniture that has to be moved ,what kind of paint roughly a 10x10 room ceiling,walls ,trim to have a professional do it $500.00

check with the local painters in your area...........get an estimate from 2 or 3 of them.........so you can at least have an average ballpark figure to go with
