aur best bet is to get to know him first find where he hangs out and if you share some coming interest then go for it the worst that can happen is he'll say no

He might. Then again, he might not. You wont know until you ask. So suck it up, be a big girl and do it.
Oh yeah, don't write a note, send a text, or an e-mail, or have a friend ask for you. Do it the only way that really works, ask him face to face in person!

I had some problems with this, too. If he's a nice guy who's really worth your time and emotions, he won't laugh at you. (PS: I know from experience: it is best to ask him face to face, and don't get too embarrassed if you blush... it happens.)

its easy (kinda) I've asked boys out before and i was nervous but... it all worked out fine. i would just say " Hi (whatever his name is) I've liked you for a while now and i was wondering if you would go out with me?" and if he says yes then you've got yourself a boyfriend! ..why don't you try to be his friend first.. then, you'll never know, maybe you don't need to ask him out.. maybe HE will ask you out..
