you know i really cant remember much of mine, however what i do remember are the most unimportant things, and also the worst things, like my stepdad treated me like crap my whole life, and i remember every time. every single time. no physical abuse or anything. i think it just depends on..if you felt like remembering it or not. at least, i think that's in my case. example, i don't remember many counseling sessions haha, or drug councelling sessions, or court dates. in my memory, i tried to remember the best times [ can remember a few but not as many as i'd like when i'm asked if by mom 'remember when we...], but i have an equal share of the worst times, sometimes worse than the better. i'm probably getting really confusing now so....

just depends on who you are. you could be blocking it out cos it was bad. or maybe you have selective memory.

It is usually from something bad happening to you in your childhood, and your mind has suppressed the memories. So if you want to remember more of your childhood, you can ask your sisters/brothers if you have any. They can feel in spots of your childhood for you. Or you can also go to a professional that can help you remember the memories that you have suppressed.
