Whenever I get hot (in the winter), my skin itches all over. This itching feeling also comes on when I am in a situation that causes my body temperature to increase, say I am in a conversation that makes me anxious / nervous. The itching is mainly concentrated around my feet (below the ankle), hands (wrists) and head (Scalp).

Sometimes itching in areas is the result of a yeast infection (candida albicans). One way to see if this may be the cause is to get a tube of antifungal cream, and spread it on one of the areas while you are itching, and see if that makes a difference.

It may take a few minutes, but if it works, and the itching is reduced or eliminated then check out www.hufa.org - the yeast link, to get basic info on candida albicans.
