I have done this in the summer when I am out in the sun, and it does seem to help.. I have strawberry blond hair so instead of doing highlights to bring out the blond I choose this method. But there is a spray product that is basiclly lemon juice, u spray it on wet hair and blow dry and get the same effects.. Just look in the conditioner section at any retailer like walmart, target etc I am in my forties and and my hair has never been damaged by using the lemon juice, and as long as this works would never consider another way of touching up my hair color

Lemon juice + the sun = highlights! This is great for blondes who wanna lighten and brighten up. Just add 1/4 cup of lemon juice to 3/4 cup of water, put it in a spray bottle and spritz it on your hair - but NOT on your scalp. use the yellow ones, but i like soaking mine in babounij it works! and it wont burn your scalp like the lemon
