So long as your grass doesn't have any chemicals sprayed on them, it is completely harmless for her. It is a myth that dogs eat grass because they have a stomachache. Dogs eat grass because they are omnivores. Perhaps something is lacking in their diet or maybe they just like the taste of grass. One of my dogs jumps up to swipe leaves from a tree...he loves them!

I would take her to a different vet for a second opinion. Sometimes a different person will have a different opinion...its at least worth a try. It could be that she has some kind of internal parasites, or it could be that the food your feeding her just doesn't agree with her and needs to be changed. Does she only do this at night say acouple hours after eating?? or does she do this other times during the day?? Figuring out how often this behavior happens will also help in determining what it could be. Good luck.

You might need to change dog foods/stop feeding table food if so.
