Psalms 22:12-18
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

This was written by King David 900 years before Christ. This shows that Jesus is the Christ that he was sent here for this purpose. It is far to detailed to be a guess. This evidence is so strong that it is almost proof... It is reassuring to me that God is and has been in control the whole time.... Jim

Because I have read and studied the bible many times I could offer you many verses. To name just one would be extremely hard to choose so I'll give you a few and you can read them for yourself. Everyone gets their own meaning from the scriptures so what it means to me might not be what it means to you.1. John3:16 of course,Romans 14:11&12,Romans 10:9,Romans 8:31,Phillipians 4:19,St. Mark 11:22-26,St. Mathew 6:14&15 Galatians 5:22. This is just a start. I could actually go on forever beause each verse has it's own meaning and I hold them all close to heart.

The ones that come to mind are Pslams 37:7 and Psalms 91:11-12. Just a couple of my favorites.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof is the way of death. This is in the Proverbs twice

Philippians 1:6- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Note: Jesus saved me on March 4, 1999 and he still isn't done with me. Until he makes me perfect, he is still working on me. He is the potter and I am the clay and the clay isnt done yet.

(Revelation21:4-5) this scripture describes what is instore for faithful followers, I especcially like how there it tells us that God will wipe out every tear from mankinds eyes, and actually swallow up death forever, so there is wonderfull things in store for us,even though right now we are living in wicked times with many sorrows, relief is well on it's way

I like the book of Psalms and Proverbs. Both of the books teach about wisdom and life.

Well, I think the one about the sex slaves would be my favorite.
When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11)

Just another reason why the bible is not fit for worship.

"I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews something or other (sorry can't remember chapter and verse.

It's a personal experience, but I remember being really upset and crying and asking God "please don't leave me."

Then He reminded me of this. "I will never leave you or forsake you."

Good stuff.
