If you can have a heart type of faith the prayer is powerful. If you doubt when you pray your word fall on the ground. Believe then receive.

Power of Prayer helps one feel as least they are doing something in trying to help aid and assist the sufferer. but along with Prayers any physical means of assistance needs to also be done. GOD helps those who help themselves

YES.
I am Muslim and I have to do that 5 times a day, it reliefs me so much, this feeling that you are talking to the master and creator of this world, when you put your face on the ground, just for him, you completely submit and start reciting the prayers.. what an amazing feeling ...
Thank you God, you are always here to respond to my prayers and give me that feeling of satisfaction every time I talk to you...

Yes I really do!I have witnessed prayer work.A local church in my town did a prayer chain for a young dying man injured in a car accident and he recovered fully, after all the specialist declared he would die in the night. It is truly remarkable to witness.

Emphatically yes! I have had personal experiences that without God and prayer the outcomes would have been very much different, for the worse.

i believe in the power of thought ... that may be prayer or kind words or anything else directed with good intentions ...but yes i believe in it
however we have to be careful in how it is worded , as it may have karmic implications ... so it would have to be unselfish prayer and done for the good of all concerened

The hands that help are more useful than the lips that pray.

Yes, as long as one asks for "guidance" and then acts himself. Waiting for God to do it for you is very non-productive!
