I know it's bad but force yourself into the shower. Drink lots of water because you're dehydrated. Take a couple of Tylonol. Eat...I know it's the last thing you want to do but you need protein. If you have some vitamin c or any other vitamins in the house take a couple of those. And now for the lecture. If you hadn't done what you did last night you wouldn't feel like this today. Did you have a designated driver? I hope so. Drinkin only gets you one thing...well several things...drunk, hung over, broke, can't remember what you did last night, waking up some place strange with somebody strange and possibly a life dependance on alcohol. Don't drink and you'll be healthy, richer, wiser, waking up on the right side of the bed with the right person next to you and your mom will be happy because she won't have to come and identify your body at the county morgue because you or someone else has slammed your vehicle into a tree or another car. Now that you've taken care of your body for now go back to bed and recover.

Drink plenty of water and then some more. Eat dry bread or crackers for carbohydrate. Apart from being dehydrated your blood sugars will be low (hence the shakes) so you really do need to eat. However hard you vomit you will not get rid of all food in your stomach so you will absorb some food.
Other than that, next time, and there will be, do not mix your alcohols and alternate with soft drinks. The darker the drink the worse the hangover. Therefore stick to clears ie spirits only or wines only. You do not have my sympathy.

Chalk it up as a lesson learned and let's concentrate on NOT getting another one of those hangovers! First, before you begin your binder, take a Pepcid AC. I don't know why, but it's always saved me from a hangover after my most prolific drinking adventures. Another hint would be to substitute a glass of water between every few drinks. Staying hydrated during a night of drinking will significantly reduce the effects of a hangover. Having something on your stomach beforehand won't hurt either!

The best way of curing a hangover is not to get it in the first place.
Therefore, immediately after you've stopped drinking the alcohol, drink lots of non-alcoholic fluid. Water is ideal! Just drink LOTS of it!
You may have to get up during the night for a leak, but the following morning you will have little/no hangover.

Green tea works well because it's a natural antioxidant.
The party's over and now you're in a regrettable state--queasy, headachy and miserable. Alcohol dehydrates your body, so a hangover is actually a form of mild dehydration.
Instructions
* STEP 1: To rehydrate your body, drink water like the fish you were the night before.
* STEP 2: Eat mild foods, since your stomach right now is quite sensitive. Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast or soda crackers (BRAT) are all good options.
* STEP 3: Check the label before you take a pain reliever to reduce any hangover-induced aches. Some pain relievers, including acetaminophen, aspirin and naproxen sodium, should not be used when alcohol is still in your system.
* STEP 4: Rest to allow your body to recover from your revelry.
Overall Tips & Warnings
* Drink lots of water and eat some bread or crackers before going to sleep if you expect to have a hangover in the morning. It may help.
* Practice moderation. It's not healthy to drink to the point of dehydrating your body.

1) the night before...
It is probably difficult to remember to do at the time....
After you have finished drinking, just before you go to bed, make sure you drink a pint and a half of water...
2) When you wake up next day with a hangover...
A good filing breakfast, to start the day...
Make sure that you drink plenty of fruit juice with your breakfast to
replenish your vitamin C /sugars etc.
Avoid coffee as an immediate hangover cure... the caffine will 'bring you round' but I have found it makes the headache worse!!

Sadly there is no cure for a hangover. It's all to do with your body and metabolising alcohol. You've just got to wait for your liver and kidneys to do their job. Take painkillers for the headache and drink water. The rest is nature's job - unless you have access to hospital detox equipment.
