Similarities are they have the same God and same history up to the time of Abraham. The belief systems are actually the same all the way thru the time of Jesus. The New testament is where Jesus dethroned God and rewrote the laws of the church. There are small differences in things, but the over all concepts are pretty equal.

The spiritual Teachings of Christianity and Islam are the same (as they are for all the major religions). What differs are the social laws. Mohammed changed the social laws given to mankind by Christ to suit the age in which He lived, just as Christ changed the social laws of Moses to suit that age in which He lived. It's all part of God's Covenant with humanity to never leave us to ourselves.

No quotes, but the Koran speaks of Jesus and Moses as prophets. The area of Islam followers beget off from one of the tribes of Israel, or Abraham. So, if you follow this, then Islam sprang off from Judaism.

No Comparison..

Islam believes in ONE God, Christians worship THREE

Islam calls for peace, Christians did crusades and Holocaust

Islam believes that human is good by nature, Christianity says we are all "sinful" by nature!!

Islam provides answers to questions like who is God, what is the purpose of life..... , while Christianity raises them i.e. what is the trinity , what is the true nature of God....ect

Islam seeks mind, Christianity seeks "blind belief"

There are no similarities, they are totally different religions. Different God, way to eternal life, purposes, future, conduct, appearance, objectives, theology, everything is different.
