i have dyed my hair dark red and want to get rid of it wich colour do i need to apply?

I would not dye your red hair at home to change its colour. Go to a salon. I've been in that situation before and tried to save money by doing it myself and just let me say green is not my colour. Hair can easily turn alot of funky colours when done at home.Save yourself aggrevation and time go to a salon, your results will be beutiful. Red is a filler colour so the salon can change it to dark with no troulbe. Dont add any other colours at home or they wont know what the reaction will be. My hair has not yet grown out and still looks terrible. To damaged and nothing i can do.
Please take my advice and save yourself the trouble.

I used to have blonde hair & then I dyed it this wine red over it... after about a couple of weeks of washing my hair everyday it wore out, & although the blonde never showed through, my hair was light brown after a couple of months. Washing your hair everyday is not good, though. But neither is stripping your hair of the dye.

My advice to you is give it a little while to wash out (red washes out very quickly) & when your hair lightens up have someone professionally dye it back to blonde.

u need to go to a salon, they will strip the color and most likely it would be better to dye it a dark chocolate brown, then after a while u can go and color it whatever u want
