In Islam, Muslims believe in all Prophets sent by Allaah(GOD). From the first, Adam to the last, Muhammad and all of them in between. To be more specific, I will list them: Elisha, Job,David,Aaron,Abraham,Enoch,Elias,Jesus,Isaac,Ishmael,Lot,Moses,Noah,Solomon,Ezra,Jacob,John,Jonah,Joseph, and Zachariya. Peace and Blessings upon them all!!!

What a Muslim believe about Prophet Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) is that he was a messenger and Prophet of Allah(GOD). Not the son of Allaah. Why because Allaah(GOD) is ONE and Only ONE.
A Muslim believes that Jesus(PBUH) was born a miracalous birth to Mary. He was able to do things like cure the blind and heal the sick and do a numerous amount of other things. But Muslims donot believe that Jesus was the son of Allaah(GOD). Nor do Muslims believe he was killed on the cross. Muslims believe that Jesus was sent up to Allaah at the time of the crucification and is still there with Allaah now, not dead. There was another man that looked like Jesus whom was crucified. This man was a believer and he wanted to sacrifice himself, so Allaah made him to look like Jesus. This man was killed in the place of Jesus. (PBUH)Muslims also believe that Jesus will come back to earth and that he will kill the fake messiah, whom would have come claiming to be him.
So, a Muslim believe very much in Jesus(PBUH). He was someone that Muslims love and believe to be amongst the Prophets. He is mentioned in the Quran in many chapters.
I wish you the best knowledge in your searches.

They don't have one. Messiah (anointed one) is a Hebrew word and has nothing to do with Islam. Muslims believe that Jesus was one in a long line of prophets, but certainly not the Messiah.

You ask us a question & yet you want no anti-islam, Why do you want an answer for then, You ask who the messiah was, He was Jesus Christ, Manily the islam faith only goes by what they claim Mohhammed said, Nothing else unless they try to put it in a twisted way, & by the time they get done twisting it, They are tangle up into a believe they can not get out of. I have a free choice, They do too, But most of them give up their free choice when they become islam.

A short but an exact answer,
'' Lo! The angels said: "O Mary! Behold, God sends thee the glad tiding, through a word from Him, [of a son] who shall become known as the Christ Jesus, son of Mary, of great honour in this world and in the life to come, and [shall be] of those who are drawn near unto God. ''(2-45)
Now who said he is not the Messiah in İslam?

we believe in many Prophets giving messages from God to their people... we however do not have a belief in a messiah, as occurs in other religions. there is no intercession in Islam. the relationship is strictly between one and God with his prophets only as messengers

peace and blessings to all,
Sakina

The Messiah in the Qur'an, who was referred to as "Al-Maseeh", or "Al-Maseeh, Isa-abnu Maryam" is translated to "The Messiah, Jesus Son of Mary".

They don't believe in a Messiah. They believe that if you are 51% good you go to heaven.
