i am trying 2 format my PC ( when i open my computer i have 3 options 1)microsoft windsowsXP Home 2)microsoft windows 3)install microsoft winXP pro.
when i press install microsoft winxp Pro. it runs and tells me that it is going 2 install WInXP on drive E:
when i change the drive 2 drive D: ( where the original WinXP home is installed) it tells me that ''installing multiple OS may cause system unstability'' (something like that).

i want 2 remove my windows XP home so i can insatll it on drive D:.
what do i need ??? and how 2 do it ??? plzzz i want in details.

that is quite easy
get a floppy or cd that autoruns and has dos
format d:\
then install xp

OR

install xp on e :\
format d :\
again install xp on d :\
uninstall xp on e :\

If that's an improve version, then sure, you would be able to desire to have XP homestead put in first. Why precisely are you upgrading to professional? It has very few reward over homestead and the majority won't in any respect use the added valuable properties.

Delete the first partiton.
