It's something like -

'I plead the fifth' or 'I plead the third.'

What is it, and what does it mean ? Really annoying me !

It's the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which states that you don't have to answer any question that may incriminate you.

Pleading the fifth is a reference to the American constitution. The fifth amendment guarantees that no one will be allowed to self incriminate themselves. So if someone asks you a question that will divulge information you'd rather not share you can 'Plead the fifth'. For example if someone asks 'Do you love me?' you could plead the fifth.

I plead the fifth. It is the fifth amendment and people say it in court. It means that they dont have to say anything that would incriminate themselves.

when some says i plead the fifth they are referring to the 5th amendment to the Constitution. you have the right not to make incriminating statement when being questioned IE while in court

it is the fifth .
I plead the fifth amendment ..written in the American Constitution....
which means you have the right to keep silent ..
not that it's done anyone any good ..i don't know why it was added in afterwards..it means nonsenses
