It probably is infected. That is the problem with P2P sites. Many of their files are infected and passed on. It is NOT just over kill. P2P viruses are viruses. It can be hard to find good files, so I buy things that I really plan on using.

You say everytime you download software, so you have done this before then ?
If I were you I would listen to what is being said to you !!!
DONT DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE AND DONT OPEN IT EITHER
if Norton Symantec tells you that it's infected then you really should listen and be told, Norton symantec is a good product which is updated every four hours and in my opinion ahead of every other anti virus software on the market. but then it's not free, so at the end of the day you get what you pay for,,meaning if it's free expect problems to appear on you computer if you decide to go ahead and open the sofware.
Limewire and Bearshare are full of bugs and virus's as the programs come from over people's ( user's ) computer's, I will say it over and over again there's no free lunch, somewhere you will have to pay for your actions, if you like computing on the web and like your computer then please don't expose it to any threat.

Don't use Limewire to download this stuff.
A lot of Spammers try to get viruses and trojans on the PCs of unsuspecting victims, by seemingly offering free software.
Furthermore it's illegal to download full version Software. If you need Dreamwever, try an older version. It's often more affordable.
Or use a bittorrent tracker.

For a start dont use Limewire..I`ve tried it before and It`s full of crap and virus files. If you need to use file sharing software try out Ares. It`s the only program I now use. I`ve never had problems using it. Personally I dont use Norton. I use the free version of AVG. I have found that Norton gives a lot of false reports. But that my personal view dont take it as gospel.

Limewire has many viruses, look at the size of the file when downloading, if it looks too big, or too small it probably is. You can find what you are looking for in other places than limewire. Norton is a good program, if it says you have a virus then you more than likely do, I wish you luck.

Here you can find a good place where to download Limewire: http://bitly.com/1lOKRKI
I love Limewire and I'm an avid user. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. you should get limewire too. It's a good peer to peer software if you have to download mp3, movies, videos or file. Limewire is a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. You always have to be cautious about what you download. Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

pondering Limewire is the positioning with in all probability the main important style of secret agent ware and virus contaminated downloads, that's an extremely undesirable option to get virus utility. in case you probably did get carry of Norton it may be an unlawful reproduction, it could have mandatory to be changed to permit it to replace, as criminal copies require activation from Norton. This at latest implies messing with the equipment. Rule one for defense, consistently use valid anti-secret agent ware/virus courses, or anticipate the device to be trashed in a pair of million week.

If Norton is picking it up as a virus then it probably is especailly exe files. Why not go on Ebay and look for a copy of Dreamweaver - much cheaper
