I have a friend who i have a big crush on, but i'm pretty sure the feelings are not mutual. he still flirts every once in a while and kisses me, but i feel like it's just to keep me liking him. I don't know if i should try to persue something with him or just go back to being friends. i'm confused if i should let my guard down and flirt back more, (lately i haven't really been flirting back, because i've been testing the waters) or if i should just drop the whole plan. I think it's too early to talk about it with him, because we just started flirting recently and i kind of want something to develop rather than to just jump into something. so.... what should i do?

One reason why I don't want to talk to him yet about it, is because i'm afraid of what the answer is going to be. And I feel like i really don't want him to know that i like him more than he likes me. i feel like i should just play it cool and work my magic until he likes me. of course.... i'd give up after a couple months.

Yeah, he KISSES me, like we've made out, at his initiation, but i just feel like he just thinks i'm hot and that he wouldn't want to date me. and DO want to date him.

I read the other answers, and PLEASE DONT LISTEN TO THEM!! The dumbest thing for a girl to do to get a guy is to just do what he wants all the time. He acts like he doesn't like you because that teases you and makes you want him more. You have to play that game on him. If you let him kiss you all the time whenever he wants, and he doesn't even have to call you his girlfriend, then he's USING YOU!! and he's making you look stupid. Be strong, and don't listen to his GAME. Tell him that you don't kiss guys unless he's your boyfriend and he treats you good. That's how girls can have game too. The more you make him work to get what he wants, the more he gives you, and you give up less. You'll have him wrapped around your finger in no time. BE HARD TO GET!!!!

Go with your gut. You don't think this is mutual and you're afraid he's using your crush on him against you.
Don't play his game. If he leans in to kiss you, move away. Tell him, not to do it unless he really means it.
Keep the physical stuff on the backburner, and really get to know him first. There's no harm in a casual flirtation, but don't put any stock in it and don't let him string you along.
Until you're certain that this is real for both of you, keep it on the backburner. Don't make him the center of your world, and concentrate on other things. Live your life, until he decides he wants to live it with you.

if the kisses your talking about on the lips then just try to take it furthur to snogging and if he doesnt like it just pull back like it never happend. if the kiss your talking about is on the lips then u'll just have to talk to him. either that or get him drunk and go further and hope he meant what he did and see what happens. if he acts like it never happend the next day and tells every1 he was drunk and didnt know what was going on you do the same. but if it works and he did mean it then good for you.
