Sharpo (GB) (1977 chestnut horse by Sharpen Up (GB) out of Moiety Bird (GB)) was bred by K V Stenborg & R E Shingles.
He was trained by Jeremy Tree and won, amongst his races, The July Cup (Gr1), The Prix de l'Abbaye (Gr1), and The William Hill Sprint (Gr2, 3 times).
He was Champion Sire in Great Britain and counted amongst his progeny: College Chapel (GB), Eponine, Jumron (GB), Lavinia Fontana (GB), Risk Me (FR), Sharp Prod (USA), Sharpical (GB), and Wardara (GB).
He died in 1994.
