I just got an "army-cut". I'm a skinny guy with a long face. I have an important first date in a few days with a girl that I haven't seen for years. We were acquaintances when we first met in college, then lost touch and we just started e-mailing each other recently and now we're going out this week. Should I be concerned with the "army-cut" (it's extremely short) I just got or am I worrying for nothing?

Just remember it'll grow back, and if she really likes you and things go well you'll know she liked you despite a bad hair cut. You're probably worried over nothing. I'm sure it looks fine. Don't bring it up because it may make her uncomfortable if she can tell you're uncomfortable. Just be confident and have a good time. Maybe she'll have a big zit or something. j/k :) Good luck :)

Just wait the few days...it will look better to you by then. Odds are good that since you have already know each other a little, she is not too likely to need to judge you on your appearance as much.

b) wanted a change

If you think you don't look good, then you will act that you don't look good and your friend will think the same. Completely forget about it and act normal, or better yet, wear a baseball cap.
