Nikon Speedlight SB-30 / SB30 TTL Flash

Ultra-portable, multipurpose Speedlight

The new Nikon SB-30 offers a variety of flash functions within a compact body barely the size of a pack of playing cards. Miniature in size and weight, it is designed as a multipurpose device that is equally at home on a Digital SLR, Film camera or Coolpix and will work as a main or secondary flash.

The SB-30's functions include close-up shooting, a built-in wide flash adapter that extends coverage for 17mm wideangle lenses, TTL wireless slave flash capability, and an infrared remote commander. Flash output level compensation (±1/2EV) is also available for non-TTL auto flash and manual flash modes.

When used with the COOLPIX range of digital cameras (and many others), the SB-30's TTL wireless slave flash function will double or triple the effective flash shooting distance.

The Nikon SB-30 is an important addition to the Nikon Speedlight lineup and will serve as an occasional primary flash, slave trigger or booster for cameras with built in speedights and will do duty as an off-camera side or back fill unit.

Ebay is the place. I just saw an Olympus T32 and bounce grip 2 with cords go for $50 US dollars. Vivitar and Sunpak made TTL compatible flashes for them also..There's one now item number 110067802358 in the UK.
