No, and yes. I do not fear being dead; I have some concerns about the process of getting there, which stands a significant chance of being messy, painful, and expensive. As for god, there is no evidence which serves to either prove or disprove the existence of god, so it is provable that the concept is useless: no belief either way can have any consequence in real life. So, for the sake of simplicity, I don't.
Postscript, re subsequent responder: you cannot use the bible to prove its own correctness. The logic error is called circular reasoning.

Believing in god dose somehow put me at ease about death. But the way I see death is everyone will eventually die like it or not. If you are meant to die today you will one way or another. So the way I see it is live, love and hope you have been faithful enough to get into heaven. Because you could not be here tomorrow. So there is no reason to fear things beyond your control.

It does not make any difference if you believe in God or not except the Christians will go to heaven & the sinners to hell. Ready or not here I come. Ask yourself this same question, Yes I am ready, are you?

I KNOW THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH AND THE NEW WORLD WILL NOT BE IN MY LIFE TIME

I will die, as did king David and wait for it Acts 2:27-31; Jesus is to prepare it.
2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5 [ all is made as perfect as before Eden ];

Isa.65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
Isa.65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

I Believe in Wakan Tanka (The Creator), ready to Die! Anytime!
And Hear Why!!!

Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).

2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.

3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.

4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.

5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.

6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.

7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.

8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.

9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.

10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.

11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.

12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.

How does belief in God mean that you should be ready to die at any time? and vice versa? God is loving and celebrates life. He did not create man in his image just to kill him or burn him in hell. That's not the God I believe in.

of course i do. who d'you think created us all? or did u think we appeared magically out of thin air? as for the dying anytime, it's in God's hands, no one can help it. One day everyone's got to die, either it's today or any other time.
