Human beings have the ability to question the reasons why they do things - this is one of the characteristics that makes us human and separates us from other animals. Whether that ability comes from God or Evolution is besides the point - it exists.
The problem is... if you question your religion are you testing God? If you do not then you are not using the gift that God has given you. If you do anything through blind faith then you are no more than any other animal acting on instinct.
I believe that it up to everyone to question all aspects of their lives - including their beliefs - in order to affirm that what they believe is right *for them*. Personally I do not believe in God but I listen to the beliefs of those that do in order to check whether my belief is valid; those that believe in God should do the same by listening to non-believers. In either case it is important to put preconceptions and bias to one side and listen with a truly open mind.
People who state that something - whether Bible or Science - is "the truth" without questioning it are no better than sheep. For example, to state the Bible is "the truth" just because the Bible itself says it is the act of a mindless fool; if you believe in God, surely you must believe He gave you a brain for a reason?

As salaamu 'alaikym warahmatullahi wabaraktuh, my friend. Insha'Allah, my life's center is Islam and Islam permiates every aspect of my daily life. Islam teaches me how to treat others (with kindness, compassion and understanding, tolerance and respect) and how to conduct any buisiness dealings that I may have with others (fairly, honestly, as I would wish to be treated). Islam guides me in how I am raising my daughter (now 7 years and 28 days old), reminding me and guiding me to teach her by my actions as well as by my words, with gentleness and loving care. Islam teaches me to stop five times each day to give thanks to Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, for all of the countless blessing he has bestowed upon me whle being neither a braggort, when I realize His blessings, nor a "glummy Gus" when I feel constrained by what I might perceive as need or want. Islam guides me as to how I view life and the created world in realizing that it is not mine but that it belongs to Allah (swt), as do I and that I must care for what I am being allowed to use. Alhumdulillah! Yes, my religion influences my life as the central focus of the same. Insha'Allah, living in the USof A and as a revert to Islam, such can also be difficult at times. This society is set up to promote some things that, as a Muslim, I find inappropriate and haram. Employers don't always understand that employees hold religious views that may be slightly , at least , at odds with some of their practices and the practices of their company (i.e., music in the work place, celebrations of festivals from different religious beiefs, the need to be able to perform salaah at the correct times, attending jummaah, etc.) Even this, however, demonstrates how my beliefs impact my daily life and, Alhumdulillah!, it is wonderful that it does. Ma'a salaam.

yes i did question my religion
and i dont mind to question it again
coz i know that there is nothing wrong in my religion
coz it is true and perfect
and the true religion relies on proofs and reality
and it relies on brain as it relies on heart
not just believing for nothing
this way you will keep away from the truth
and i always remember that logic is first then heart
so you can make sure that your religion is true
you have to think depending on the logic
then you believe

"Quest" ions are good things as long as you can recognize the truth and establish a base from which to build upon. Ah yes, the quest for truth... Jesus said a few things about that subject; for instance, he said, "I am the truth", "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free", and "When He, the Spirit of truth shall come, He shall lead you into all truth" among others...
So, the moral? Question, yes, but hold onto truth when it is found!

Yes I dare . I question my religion everytime I see something that it doesnt seem to be right . I ask the priest ,i search in the Bible , I ask others , i search internet ,I do my best to get the right answers.God dont want that we trust him blindly . He want us to understand him and to search for the truth .A religion that doesnt allow its people to question it its just a dictatorial sistem ,a power for minds controling nothing else.
But the true God says:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Mathew 7:7

I don't question my faith in Jesus Christ for one reason. In the Bible we are told many, many times that when we make Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, then God will put his Holy Spirit inside us. It is because of the Holy Spirit living inside me that proves beyond any doubt that I have found the truth. Jesus Christ said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but be me".
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father; and ye in me, and I in you.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor hight, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Please correct your spelling! This site is not a telegram, and you do not get charged by the character. As for your question: I determined when I was eight years old that science could not be reconciled with the bible, and since science is obviously right (it works!), the bible had to go. I have spent much of the last two decades working on the basic philosophical questions of what can we know and how, and am working on writing a book that tells all.

My belief system is actually built upon questioning your beliefs and the ability to discard or change them at a moment's notice.

My faith is rock solid. I believe in God with all my heart, soul & spirit.
By the grace of God & in Jesus name I was healed from incurable terminal illness - ALS (MND). I was on the verge of being admitted to a Hospice & placed an order for the delivery of an electrical wheelchair.
Thank God today I no longer have ALS, I'm mobile & healthy & raising my teenage daughter.
Thank you God. Love & light
