Well, the big issue here is that you were 14 and he was 18. I'm not saying that those ages can't work, but there could be a serious problem in that you two might have wanted two different things. (Also, depending on where you live, such a relationship could have -- and may still be -- illegal.) If you can't be with him for whatever reason -- either he's not interested or lives too far away, I would think you're smartest to try and find someone else. It's not an overnight decision, but usually it's the best way to get over someone who you can't be with.

If she is indeed your best friend, then she has a right to know. The truth always comes out in time, and if she were to find out that you were withholding information, then HE isn't going to be the only person she is angry with. Is it worth risking your friendship? Besides, if he is cheating on her, then he is a scumbag, and his deeds need to be brought to light.

wow thats tough, think about it, what would you want her to do if it was you. ive seen this happen to me before my eyes, i was the "victim" my boyfriend kissed a lot of girls, and one day my friend told me she had kissed him, i dont know why but i wasnt mad at her, i hated him, and i had loved him so badly, but i was happy, i wondered how terrible it would have been to go through a whole relationship with a guy who wasnt worth my time, yeah it hurt, but i became loser with the girl who was brave enough to tell me.

you should tell if you really care about your friend. Just think, if the guy can do that to his girlfriend's best friend, what would he do with other girls? (definitely the guy feels no guilt for hitting on girlfriend's best friend.)
