勇士 yǒng shì (n) warrior;
戰士 战士 zhàn shì fighter; soldier; warrior;
for zhan shi, the first one is traditional, the second one is simplified.

Warrior = 戰士, 勇士, 武士.
Just to elaborate a little more, the above terms all share the same second characters "士" which means soldier.
The meanings of the first characters vary a little by themselves.
戰 = war, battle, fight.
勇 = brave, couragous, fierce
æ¦ = martial art, kung fu, fighting technique.
So choose carefully. There are many different fonts the artist can use, but one thing for sure, DO NOT use simplified form of writing. ( i.e. insist on the traditional form) It just doesn't give the same impression in a tatoo otherwise.
