In Christianity, headcovering and veils demonstrate divine order of authority and submission so decreed. (verse 3 and10.) Noticeably, the letters of Paul were not remitted to the Bible for at least three hundred years after his death.

God is the Authority. He gave us Law. He is very clear about what he wants and doesn't want. He also created authorities on earth to make sure his laws are obeyed within the framework of free will. Those authorities on earth have corrupted themselves and no more represent the great Authority, God. God's Law was never meant to hurt people, but to make them happier. Man has this religious zeal to make God's law onerous and heavy to bear. They make up more rules that God never intended and rob the people blind. They do not build up God's kingdom; they build up their own kingdoms. So one thinks within himself, "Where is God? Why does He allow all this? Why can't He be more personal? Where is He?" Then someone quotes from their Scripture, and that is supposed to satisfy this query. So one thinks within himself, "Aside from a book, where is God in every day life? Is God only in a book and not in real life? Is He in real life, but hidden and indifferent? Or is He hidden and caring but not where we notice? Is He so far away we think He is gone?" Obviously, something is wrong and religion is not noticing.
