Hello,
one of the easiest ways to help yourself be more outgoing is to discount from your mind that other people are judging you in any way.—-> sounds difficult, there are a few ways this can be done, realize that among a group of your peers (or whomever), no one is in a position to be able to pass judgment on you. for me it was a simple matter of assuming that the judgment of other people was no concern of mine, and not worthy of detracting from my quality of life. it is important that you do not allow an attitude of apathy towards the estimations of others become an arrogant or (holier-than-thou) veneer. what is important to realize however is that you should be able to speak your mind and act as you will amongst any group in a familiar setting (professional relationships are a little different), any people at odds with you aren’t liable to be your friends anyway, and their opinion of you should carry even less weight. in a nutshell, -if you feel you have worth, then you do. it doesn't make sense to second guess yourself for a group of people who don’t know you as well as you know yourself. feel free to ask something else.
hope that helps.

Have the mentality that by you talking to her, you are doing HER a favor, sort of talk down to her without being condescending. Pretend that you are confident. Even though you may feel that you are not. kid yourself into thinking so. Girls really sense confidence in men. You need practice so don't start off with the hottest chick you see. Talk to any normal female you see. the best place you can practice is going to retail stores. For instance going to rent a movie, and you see a chick or even a guy behind the counter, ask their opinion on a movie or you are at a bookstore ask to find a book, even you know where it is. Heck ask for the bathroom. you have to start somewhere. If you are in school ask the females in your classroom questions. Like "do you know what the homework was"? or "what did the professor say"? believe me a simple question like that will go a long way because in the next class she is going to remember your face and i can almost guarantee you that you will say hi to each other. And maybe the next time you guys see each other she will initiate the conversation and you will go from there. You have to start somewhere. good luck bro

take a deep breath and take the plunge, i was shy myself once, but watching life go by without me wasnt fun, one day i gave up on being timid, and just became loud. how would you feel living the rest of your life knowing that you could have done something great, but you couldnt get yourself to do it? i mean, we can all die at any minute, what if your minute was tomorrow, and you never talked to that girl? just say hi, its easy. good luck!

Approach a chick not caring if she is gonna turn you down or not. If it works then cool but have a "I don't give a F attitude"
