How can you say you're an 'experienced' engineering manager at 21!
Thats the trouble with you Kids. You all expect.... Too much, Too soon !!
At 21 years you haven't even got a degree yet?
Even when you come out of college or Uni, thats when the experience starts.
Assuming the lesser experience which is about average for a hard working 21 year old with (Say) an HNC, expect about £20K, maybe £22K with London weightings.
In any event, good luck in your future career.

The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located. Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career. I am thinking if you have to ask that question on this site, you have got to be way under-average....(chuckle)

We're worth what we can get...that's capitalism and the market economy for you. If you feel you are under-compensated, try marketing your skills and assets more creatively.

You add value, and it wouldn't be right not to take some of that of the table....
