Regardless of religion, cause we all know there is only one Creator, has anyone prayed sincerly to Allah/God for guidance to the truth and what were the signs or events that led you to whatever you ended up believing?

ITS A SHAME, TRIED TO ASK HONEST QUESTION, BUT GOT ATTACKS, SARCASIM, AND LIES. NO ONE HAS PRAYED TO ALLAH/GOD SINCERLY.

Well yeh i have prayed deeply and askd Allah to guide me the ryt way (as i was involved in wrong things) therefore i prayed sincerly and devotly and Allah swt has guided me to the ryt path, the sign for me was where i am today, iv completly changed from bad to good. to me i used to look at the signs around me, my purpose of life was not just to do whatever i pleased, but ideally to obey Allah swt and enjoin good and forbid evil...

I talked to lots of Muslims after an interest in it a year ago and again a couple of months back (following the rucus about the Pope's comments). I found out as much as I can about the religion and for the sake of it I prayed to Allah to tell him if he wants me to be a Muslim, to show me, and the general Creator to guide me on the right path.

I immediately lost interest in Islam after those prayers and am now a very happy Catholic Druid.

EDIT: No. I am not lying. I answered your question honestly and sincerely.

I have prayed for guidance on work, relationships, religion and earnestly listened to the still small voice that urged me to do the right thing. It is awesome and humbling to know that God would speak to a sinner like me.

I have prayed for others to be guided upon the Truth... did one last night for a friend.... haven't really done one for myself though.... but's it's when your deeply into Islaam..... when you want to learn, nothing but learn the religion of Allaah.... read and learn the Qur'aan... ther are so many things... going out to study sessions and talks.... talk about Islaam to your friends etc, and guide them... give da'wah.....

You do not know that god guides people to the truth he simply does not exist and is an invention of man. Check out some science sites on the net and educate yourself go on you can do it.

So why did a bunch of Muslims protest the new rape law last week? They said it was unIslamic and wrong. They feel that a woman should have 4 (FOUR!) male witnesses to accuse a man of rape. (This was in Pakistan). They protested a law that said a woman doesn't need 4 male witnesses anymore...ridiculous.

In 2004, ISLAMIC law put a 16 year old girl to death in Iran. They hung her in the town square. She was tried and convicted of "crimes against chastity", (having sex outside of marriage). The man was left free... yea, sounds like one GREAT religion to me!
AND YOU THINK THIS RELIGION CREATES GOOD PEOPLE?
