i was chatting to a guy at work and he told me i can run my AOL internet without having to go through the AOL sorftware which apparently only slows down my pc.. if this is possible can anyone explain to me how in PC DUMMY language... thanks

Type www.aol.com in your browser. If you're in the UK type www.aol.uk
Click on Email (Top of left hand menu).
This takes you to the log in page.
Right click anywhere on that page and choose send to "desktop". This creates a short cut on the desktop.
Now you can get to AOL anytime you want bypassing their software.

in basic terms long on with AOL, decrease it and then open up Firefox. i became Firefox consumer for years. i think of IE 7 is plenty extra suitable and that i can finally say Microsoft got here out with a smart browser.
