i get tonnes of cmments on my hair color....many trips to the salon, left my broke and unsatisfied....so i made my own.....
I bought two shades of color.
Black,Burgandy, mixed 2 parts Bur 2/3 of bottle...to one part black.1/3 of bottle...the color rocks...the dark tone, with hints of dark burgandy...don't leave mixture in full 25 min...black will over power it...but after a few washes....look out...hot momma....

As a general rule, it's best to colour your hair the closest shade near you natural hair colour - one shade lighter or darker.

It is different for each person because of skin color, undertones, etc. It's best to not stray more than 2 shades lighter or darker from your natural color. It's more believable, less noticeable roots and compliments your natural beauty.

One man's meat is another's poison. Hence the best answer would be "To each his own". You just cannot make everybody sharing the same opinion.

I'd say the colour you have, but few women are able to be unconditionally accepting of what they start with.
So I'll cop out and say "Why Red, of course...:-)"
