i was eating really hot food and suddenly i feel this thing on my gum. is it possible to burn your gum from hot foods? it looks like a blister or something. never happened before.

yes it is possible to burn your mouth on hot foods and it can form a blister just like burning your hand on something hot forms blisters. i did it once before. my doctor just told me to stay away from hot foods for a few days and try to stick with colder foods. finally...an excuse to eat ice cream. just be careful of it and if it doesnt get better in a few days then see a doctor or dentist.

Oh. I did that once and peeled the skin off the blister. It was pretty sore. Vitamin E worked. Pop open the capsule, rub it on the gums then just swallow the rest. It really didn't take long to heal. =)

yes definately you can get blisters from hot food on your palate and around your gums

I'm not sure? but I think there it is a possibility. It's best to visit a dentist. It could be some sensitivity.
