I have found that the US is heading that way where the line between Church and State is bluring. However I don't wish to live in a country like China where they are still coming out of the consequences of the 1970s cultural revolution which wiped out free choice of religion, education and rights.

But no, I think that government should support the rule of law instead of what is written in the Bible.

Do you mean governed?

No, religion does not belong in government. But I love Jesus's teachings.

JESUS RECONCILES ALL TO HIS GOD AND OURS TO HIS FATHER AND OURS

John 20:17;

Rev.21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Isa.65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

I don't see any "laws" in his teaching but a guideline and I think you could not force those teachings as they would not be true or just in some cases.
