Pick up the phone and tell the restaurant how many people will be in your party, and if you'll be needing a child seat and also what time you want your dinner served. If your driving, find out how the parking is (like if it's safe?) or if they have valet parking.
Reserve early because restaurants will be busy this time of year.

I presume you are referring to the reservations for backward classes in educational institutions & government & private companies.
Due to reservations in India's premier educational institutions like IIT & IIM, the seats in them will decrease.But the govt has ordered them to increase their intake capacity to such an extent that even after the reservations,the seats available for normal students will be the same as before.To counter the 27% reservations,seats will be also increased by 27 %,which if you think carefully isn't a bad thing to happen at all.
We can't do anything about reservations in public sector.
The people of the private sector will work out a way around the reservations.It might take time,but it will be done.

Everyone is assuming this is about India. Perhaps it is. Since it is in the US/English section, however (and UK/English and Australian...etc) it is hard to say. We have Native American reservations over here. Some have casinos and some don't, and may need help for all I know. Please clarify. On immigration I know of at least one Native American reservation that spans the US Mexican border, and they are concerned about trash and crime from illegal aliens, but are also concerned about their own people's ability to go over the boarder as protected by treaty.

If your talking about Indian Reservations, they hire ILLEGAL MEXICANS too. Here in San Diego there was a raid on a fence company. Golden State Fence Co. The reservation hired them knowing illegals worked for them!

We can try to eliminate this vote bank politics based system
as early as we can.When no other developed nation has it,
why our politicians want to do it here in India.
At all they are interested in Dalit & muslim upliftment,they should
better reserve first their party chief post for these people.
Reservation is simply dividing the country,at the most it can be
based on financial basis,so it will be beneficial for poor of the India,irrespective of caste,creed or religion.

Since you are unclear in your question,and didn't specify what reservations, it is difficult to answer with any coherency Ahh I see after reading some answers it may have to do with India. I am not knowledgeable enough on their politics to answer with any grain of creditability.
