Hello!

"right up your alley" is an idiom which means ---- > (1 a : the language peculiar to a people or to a district, community, or class : b : the syntactical, grammatical, or structural form peculiar to a language
2 : an expression in the usage of a language that is peculiar to itself either grammatically (as no, it wasn't me) or in having a meaning that cannot be derived from the conjoined meanings of its elements (as Monday week for "the Monday a week after next Monday")
But simply put,
up your alley - meaning: what you like to do, what interests you
I hope this helps! :)

Believe it or not, even though it SOUNDS like it could be an American-sexual thing..it's not!! It's merely a user-friendly expression, usually said by someone close to you who knows your likes and dislikes....when they see something that they KNOW you'd like, they say, hey! This is right up your alley!

It means a task is easy for you because it is what you do. If you are a professional mechanic and someone asks you to fix their car it would be "Right up your ally",

It means that it would be good for you (suit you), your line of whatever you want to do. It is a reassurance to help you make a decision easily because someone thinks you would be great at that (whatever that may be). Hope I helped!
