Its an intel microprocesser technology that utilizes 2 processers instead of traditionally used 1 processer. Do not expect the speed to be doubled though. Take the example of an HP laptop with Intel duo processor core 2 and processer speed 1.6 gigahertz. You'd expect the actual speed to be 3.2 ghz but it actually 2.5ghz.
