I know some girls who tell me i'm too short. Those are usually girls that are about my height. Some girls shorter then me, think i'm just fine. But alot of times the girls that say im too short, are the ones who where high heels and still tell me im too short, even when they take them off and they are shorter them i am.

While height (or lack thereof) is not something I would ever allow to get in the way of getting to know/date/marry a nice guy, I do find myself naturally attracted to very tall guys.
We all notice a person's physical characteristics first, but if we're smart, we aren't overly swayed by it.

Depends on the girl. Some girls have a "type" that includes being tall as a huge positive. I'm one of those, sad to say -- I'm 5'3" and have always dated guys waaaay over 6' -- but that's because I'm kinda tomboyish and am attracted to jock-y types. I've also blown off tall guys who are jerks, so it's not all about height for me. I'd love to find a guy closer to my height that is into the same things I'm into, so I keep looking.
I have friends who would NEVER date a really tall dude, and would prefer someone close to their own height. In fact, most of my friends who are happily (I stress *happily*) coupled up are with someone just about their height.
And those girls who think you're too short when you're their same height? They sound pretty damn shallow to me. It's better to dance with a guy that's your height; easier to look 'em in the eye (believe me, I know). Holding hands is also much easier when your SO is around your height. If those girls are looking for someone tall *just* because they're tall? Idiots.
Remember: any gal your height who gets you isn't just getting a new boyfriend. She's getting the chance to raid your closet and wear all your cool tshirts. Blow off those other chicks who think you're short. Who needs 'em? ;-)

The reason girls like taller guys is because we feel more protected and safe with a guy who is tall. Its a bit of a masculine thing I guess. A guy looks powerful if he is tall, its not personal though, my boyfriend is way shorter then I would have liked but when it comes down to it, I don't think height really does matter. If a girl rejects you because of your height then the problem is with her and not you.

While this is somewhat of a stereotype, every short guy I have ever dated has had something of a Napoleon complex, constantly trying to prove that he was as good and as tough/manly as taller guys. If you're secure in yourself, that helps enormously in overcoming the height issue (and it is an issue for some people) - your personality shines through to the point where most people don't even notice how tall you are (or aren't).

I would prefer to be with someone who is tall enough so that if I wore heels, I wouldn't be taller than him. Of course, I'm 5'5 so that's not really requiring too much. That said, if I loved the person's personality, it really wouldn't matter. It's more a matter of initial attraction. But it goes both ways...many guys prefer women who are shorter than them and I have heard of men who pressure their girlfriends/wives not to wear heels because it makes them feel insecure.

The majority of girls only want to date a guy that is taller than her (i don't know why!!) but short guys always end up with short girls...most of the time. That's the way it is. I don't really have an explaination.

It's not important if the girl is really interested. But, I had a boyfriend who was shorter than me and I felt very large and masculine. I like to be with a guy that is taller than me. I feel more feminine that way and more comfortable.

To me as long as i'm taller than you i really won't date you! i've dated guy that were shorter than me and i didn't like looking down at the guy at all! So I date my height and up!

your height is just right! it is not you! it then. keep being you! and the girl for you will come along and love you for you! not the fact that you are tall or short. if you look around you will find that the world is very short. now look at prince he is very short and get all of the women!!!!!!! and he is very short!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

in love there are measurments which is doing by others, not by lovers. Height is in that kind. I think, height is not a big problem but when others saying "He doesn't suits you" is a problem.If there is real love , THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is the way you love, not height.
