First of all , you had better have a LOT of money, and some very smart people in the aviation business. Buying the aircraft is the easy part, you can contact Duncan Aviation @ duncanaviation.com. Going part 135 is a very expensive road and time consuming. You need to have someone who knows maintenance and can keep your books up to date, and can do some of the minor maintenance. The way to obtain a small fortune in aviation, is to begin with a large fortune.
You will find the maintenance is more expensive than the aircraft, plus you need a hanger, fuel, and depending upon what type of aircraft you fly... can determine how much operating cost will be.
If I were to venture out and become an independent 135 operate, and did not know much about it... get a job with someone who already is and learn the ropes.... this way you learn what you need and it isn't your money you are learning off of.

Lot's of time and money will be required. There is, however, a scaled down 135 certificate for a single engine piston powered plane (one plane only) which you can obtain a a couple of months if you have your homework completed in advance. You will need to write an operations manual and training program which you can get from a hired consultant. If you plan on using jets or multiple planes, plan on spending a minimum 6 to 18 months.

It amazes me that a few people truthfully take a seat round with not anything larger to do; than to make up dumb azz questions as an alternative of truly, official ones .... And; WHY within the title of God, can we preserve getting the SAME questions approximately Jeff hardy, John Cena, and fitting a WWE Talent over and over again and over and over again AGAIN ? Doesn't any individual learn via the questions already ask or are they THAT worried to lose 10 aspects for asking a query ? Anway; I'd larger answere this question : If Brock had a hindrance together with his plane .. he's wise sufficient to understand that he might must name any individual to return and fix it ... because it might be a dumb azz transfer to harm it additional ...

If you are serious..contact the FSDO (Flight Standards District Office)
nearest you. They will assist you in this. BTW I know of a VERY knowledgeable pilot that did this recently. he says it takes about a year
to "jump through all the hoops" that the FAA requires before the 135 certificate is issued. For the "legal speak" see:
