I want to start a FBO on an airport and maybe teach somebody to fly myself and work for myself. Can somebody help me?

You'll need quite a bit of money to start an FBO. Typically, local governments own the land surrounding an airport which is then leased out to FBO's in either 10, 20 or 40 year increments. There is typically a lot of competition for these leases and the local governments require a significant amount of resources to be spent on the land for improvements, building out the FBO, etc. in order to get the lease.

If you want to get started in aviation and work for yourself, you'll need some resources to get you off the ground.

Good luck.

Ask the airport manager, who is appointed by the city government, after recieving the proper certifications, and as other have said, have some money.

you have to have a license first. you need an FAA rating to work on airplanes. there are schools that you can go to that will train you to get your a&p license
