I just recently bought a surround sound system (made by LG and the model is LH-E9674) and the sound is great. I played music and movies on it and it works flawlessly. After playing music and movies, I wanted to try my video games on it so i hooked up my xbox 360 to my receiver. When i finally started playing my video games, I was impressed with the sound effects. However, when I first play the game it works perfectly, but as I keep on playing it starts to produce this delay effect that gets worse and worse when I continue gameplay. When I turn off the receiver and turn it back on the sound works perfect again for about 15 minutes, then after that it starts to do the same thing again. Like in halo 2 for example, when I shoot a gun, I don't hear anything until like half a second. When its really bad, sometimes I shoot the battle rifle multiple times and when I'm reloading I'm still hearing the shots from the battle rifle. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

It sounds like you have a faulty piece of hardware. Contact LG's tech support line:

1-800-243-0000

Or take it back to the retailer for a new one.

If your XBOX 360 is hooked to your LG stereo with FIBER OPTIC or DIGITAL COAX, then the problem is inside the LG...As the LG decodes the sound from digital to analog, it gets behind the video a little at a time...After 15 minutes or so, it's so out of sink you start to notice...Turning it on and off again resets them both.

All digital stereo equipment can get their audio out of sink...Digital cable boxes, DVD players, etc...Stereos can all be fixed by simply switching the input to another then back again...Or with cable boxes, changing the channel back and forth...For DVD players you hit "stop" and then "play" again.

You shouldn't have to turn your LG off...Just switch back and forth between inputs...Or if you don't feel like switching your LG from "FM" back to the XBOX input every 15 minutes, you can just hook up the XBOX with the ANALOG (red and white RCA) cables...But with this connection you WON'T get 5-channel surround (Dolby Digital 5.1)

But I've NEVER heard of one messing up that badly...I would see about getting a new one or even a different model...It might just be the one you happened to buy is broken...But if you're getting these problems with the analog audio cables already, I have NO idea what's going on.

"encompass Sound audio gadget" at the instant are not something extra effective than everyday audio gadget, what makes them "encompass Sound audio gadget" is the very incontrovertible fact which you will placed 2 audio gadget (or 3, or 4) at the back of you, for this reason the "encompass" area. speaker applications that comprise 5 audio gadget and a subwoofer, the .a million in the 5.a million sound, are good applications to verify. you get a center channel, which fits on or decrease than the television, 2 front audio gadget (a left and a suitable), and 2 rear audio gadget, (a rear left and a rear suitable). and the sub is going on the floor in many situations up front by making use of the receiver or a front speaker

this is a capacitance problem as you play on the wiring from your game cube is failing resistance is building up to the point where you can not only hear the delay but also see it as you have said first i would try replacing the cable you used from your cube to your reciever then secondly i would check the voltage from your power supply on the game cube this is probably the culprit other than that you have a bias problem in your reciever check your con figeration on your reciever
